Shelly and her husband Eli are fabulous. They came to my rescue after struggling to sell my father’s home on my own. They believed in the home, its location, and in me and my brother. They took a slightly faded grand home and made it a star again, that end up in a closed deal at 15K over asking with no contingencies. It was great. For 6 months prior I had been struggling with developers and private agents that all wanted to pay cheap and tear the place down, but Shelly was the one agent that believed that while the home could be a teardown, it didn’t have to be. She saw it differently; she believed that the home had many other options AND she believed in the vision that we had for the home, despites its nearly 70 years of age. We listed with her and in less than a week we had not one, but two full price offers and multiple showings and other potentials –and after 3 months of struggle and 2 failed escrows already on my own it was almost unbelievable to have such good fortune so quickly, but that is what happened and what Shelly and her team can do. I highly recommend them. They are professional, and treat people professionally, and yet they are sincere and honest too. Also being an independent firm they do not have to answer to anyone but themselves so they are flexible on commissions and all costs, which is an added plus. Moreover, the team of connections, escrow officers, inspectors, and repair people she knows are all GREAT, and top notch, so I couldn’t be more pleased with how it all turn out, and I only wish I had other properties to sell in Encino, because I would use her and her husband exclusively. You cannot to wrong with them. I had lost my faith in real estate; I thought it was all a giant shell game designed to get the most money for agents and developers at the expense of sellers, but Shelly and Eli have restored my faith. They are good people and excellent agents and I highly, highly recommend them.
